The Social Network

The Social network is a brilliant look back on how Facebook was invented. If you have ever wondered how this social internet phenomenon got started, this entertaining and informative film will provide the facts and the fun in this two hour joy ride.

Aaron Sorkin who penned "A Few Good Men" and political blockbuster "West Wing" wrote the screenplay, the construction of the film is such that it plays out from one spot and weaves it was forward and back. David "Fight Club" Fincher directs, so there is certain edge to this title.

The acting does not disappoint, Jessie Eisenberg steps up his resume from "Zombieland" with an convincing portrayal of Jeffrey Zuckerberg, Facebook founder. I truly enjoyed Justin Timberlake who owns the screen from his first scene to his last.
The Casting is just splendid and the pace and the length of the film are spot on.

Kevin Spacey the films producer should be proud of this film, it's funny, serious, touching and feels personal. I don't see many films in the theater anymore, I am glad that Justin, my son, convinced me this was worth the time and money.

I don't see any reason to have to see it on the big screen, other than it is always the preferred place for the best film viewing experience.
